Timber Harvesting!?!?!? Is there no shame as to how they can further destroy the land? The study the PC is looking at is authored by the timber harvesting industry and they convinced some folks at Penn State to publish it - so you know what the study finds - that timber harvesting is the greatest thing. Everyone profits. Everyone but the neighbors who have all the run off water and soil erosion. Everyone but the folks down stream who have their water polluted. Everyone but whom has to look at this eyesore of a mess. When will our local government start protecting the scenic and beautiful nature that we have all come to love? When will our local government start putting the interests of the people before the builders, developers and harvesters?
